Heritage is a key feature of Davy Down.

The attractive Stifford Viaduct, built in late Victorian times
and opened on 1st July 1892. It
is one of the most striking features at Davy Down. At it's
highest point it measures 10 metres and there are 14 arches. The
viaduct was built to take double track, but only single track was
laid.
Trains pass over between Chafford Hundred and South Ockendon
railway stations giving passengers panoramic views of Davy Down and
the Mardyke Valley.
