This cottage no longer exists. It was destoyed by fire in 1962
The cottages second from left used to be the Oaks Inn.
The cottage second from right was Bill Gunn's cottage and it was destroyed by fire in 1962.

In about 1926 some new residents came to live in the village at Stifford Lodge. They were three Indian princes, who had been sent to England to be educated.
Built at the end of the nineteenth century
Erected in 1840 and used from1894 to 1896 by the School Board
Discovered in North Stifford in 1980. It is the only complete example of this type of Seal found in England
The Poor Cottages (on the left) no longer exist.
They used to be situated near the corner by the Forge
